Thomas Mercer-Hursh, Ph.D. has been doing professional software development since 1966 using in excess of 50 languages and covering a wide range of financial, scientific, statistical, and other applications. He has been developing financial applications since 1975 and applications in distribution accounting since 1980. Dr. Mercer-Hursh has been working with 4GL applications since 1979 and Progress® since 1985. He has a long history of innovation and accomplishment in a variety of computing realms as well as in biological anthropology and education.
